Nail Technology
Note: Required June 1–18, 2026, Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. training at CAVIT’s Coolidge campus. Student must be 16 years of age on June 1, 2026, and have earned ten high school credits with two of those credits in English.
Program Highlights
- Express individual creativity utilizing a wide range of nail care techniques using the latest technology and trends.
- Create artistic designs, artificial enhancements, and provide natural nail services.
- Manage client relationships, and provide recommendations for ongoing health and safety.
Career Focus
- The first step to earning your nail technician licensure is to successfully complete the CAVIT one-year, 600-hour program. At the end of the program, it’s time to earn your licensure by passing the state’s two exams. Finally, it’s time to update your resume, apply for, and land a nail technician position and/or continue your post-secondary education and earn a business or marketing degree.

Nail Technology Labor Entry Level Salary Range
- Hourly: $16.47
- Annual: $34,250
