Dual enrollment college credit is free to eligible students from the various community colleges and is updated on a regular basis with new programs and credits being offered while attending CAVIT.

The following CAVIT programs currently offer dual enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year:

Through Central Arizona College:

  • Behavioral Health – 3 credits
  • Cybersecurity – 15 credits
  • Law Enforcement – 6 credits
  • Massage Therapy – 5 credits
  • Medical Science – 12 credits
  • Pharmacy Science – 3 credits
  • Veterinary Science – 1 credit

Through NHA and ACE:

  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant – 5 credits
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician – 2 credits
  • Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant – 2 credits

Prior Learning Assessment

CAVIT students have the ability to receive credit at no cost for college-level learning that was done prior to enrolling at the college. Credits are only awarded if a student enrolls at the specific college listed and in the programs as it is listed. This credit is referred to as Prior Learning Assessment.
