Program Highlights
- Manipulate the power of fire and electricity to design and construct metal products.
- Perform flux core, stick, MIG and TIG welding and safety, as well as, oxy-fuel welding, cutting, and plasma cutting.
- Work with grinders, drills, plasma arc cutters, burning torches, and arc welding machines.
Career Focus
- The first step to earning your OSHA and nc3 Lincoln Electric certifications is to successfully complete the CAVIT two-year program. At the end of the program, it’s time to earn your certifications by passing the exams. Finally, it’s time to update your resume and apply for and land a welding position or apprenticeship experience.
