![]() The Massage Therapist plays an important role in growing health care fields of preventive health care, fitness and stress management. Students learn Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology of the body as it relates to soft tissue injury and treatment. Students will also be introduced to proper body mechanics for their own well-being and injury prevention. In addition, students will be taught sanitation procedures, First Aid, and become CPR certified.

![]() We have designed this course for students to be able to complete in two years. CAVIT will award a certificate of completion to students who successfully complete the two year program. ![]()
![]() Through a Tech Prep articulation agreement with Central Arizona College, students in the second year massage therapy class are eligible to earn free college credit. The college defines entrance requirements, which must be met before the college will grant credit. Students are responsible for meeting those requirements and completing a separate college admission process. |
