![]() ![]() Medical assistants are the “right arm” of the modern medical clinic. They are trained to work closely with physicians, physician assistants and nurses. With state-of-the-art equipment and a simulated doctor’s office, CAVIT students will become comfortable in a clinical environment. This exciting career is one of the fastest growing health occupations in the United States. The program offers students the training needed to assist physicians both in the clinical area and in the administrative medical office setting. Medical Assistants also have the opportunity to work as an Insurance Specialist, a Medical Office Receptionist or as a Medical Office Manager. ![]()

![]() This program is designed to be completed in two years. CAVIT will award a certificate of completion to students successfully completing the two year program. ![]()
![]() Through a Tech Prep articulation agreement with Central Arizona College, students in the second year medical assistant class are eligible to earn free college credit. The college defines entrance requirements, which must be met before the college will grant credit.
