![]() First year students will attend CAVIT from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. daily. Second year students will attend classes from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. daily. ![]()
![]() This program requires 1,600 hours of classroom instruction. Students who successfully complete the curriculum and the required hours qualify to take the Basic Operator’s exam given by the State of Arizona. ![]()

![]() Elizabeth Turner Elizabeth Turner has over 22 years in management and teaching experience at Arizona and California cosmetology schools. She is a Redken master color technician and an OPI certified nail technician educator. Elizabeth has worked as a platform educator and trainer at hair shows across the country. Elizabeth joined CAVIT in 2010.
Carolyn Ramirez Carolyn Ramirez has 17 years of cosmetology salon experience working in Arizona and New Mexico salons. Carolyn has worked as a floor instructor for nail, hair, and aesthetic classes for seven years. She heads up our first-year program. Carolyn joined CAVIT in 2011. ![]()
